For Thanksgiving this year, I thought I would incorporate this tasty little number. Never one to follow the trends – I’m opting away from the creamed pumpkin and apple cider based drinks. I say bring on the Whisky! This lovely twist on an old Fashion is light and refreshing with a delightful burst of cinnamon at the end. The first one makes the next two seem like a great idea – so just make sure you help Grandma to the dining room table when the turkey is served!
- 1 shot Fireball Whisky
- 1 shot bourbon
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 4 dashes of bitters (we used orange bitters)
Shake and strain into an old fashion glass and garnish with orange peel.
