Hickey’s Wine & Spirits has been a family run business for three generations. Started in 1922, Thomas A. Hickey decided to sell liquor in the speakeasy of his grocery store. 10 years later, after prohibition ended, he was granted Worcester County’s second liquor license.

Business has thrived since then, and we now boast over 420 types beers, over 2000 wines, over 50 types of tequila and approximately 120 types of scotch. Our staff is friendly, knowledgeable and know many of our customers by name.

Hickey’s has the most competitive pricing in the area, as well as has a unique, fun personality and knowledgeable staff. Charlie is well-known and beloved by his customers and has expertise in craft beers, and additional staff has expertise in wine and scotch.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Good selection of wine. I am in love with Lobester Reef and they always have it in stock. Good prices &  lots of inventory if you like to try new things. Just repaved their parking lot and it looks really nice.

Excellent microbrew section in the back where you can mix and match and make your own six pack. They have a pretty decent wine and liquor selection. Employees there are knowledgable and and usually reliably recommend something new to try.

One of the cooler looking liquor stores in the area. There wine and beer selection is huge. The staff is always recommending great new beers, and have not steered me wrong yet.

Always a good inventory of wine, beer and liquor. Now my “go to” for hard to find items.
